Applied Automation AUAPL
To meet the need for practical experience in applied automation, the AUAPL series was developed. It consists of kits that present challenges in realistic situations, such as elevator automation, garage gate automation, and traffic light system automation.

highlights
The sensors and instruments used are industrial, allowing students to become familiar with and learn how to use equipment they will encounter in the field.
Siemens is one of the most well-known and used brands globally, offering a development platform for all its Automation solutions, the TIA Portal.
The Simmaq simulator expands the use of kits in this series by introducing new virtualized environments that can be controlled by either the real or simulated PLC. It can be used by students outside the school environment, thanks to its web-based licensing system, making it suitable for distance learning (EaD) or blended courses.
Pneumatic Parts Sorting System
The parts classifier bench allows working with sensors, actuators, and PLC in an integrated manner in a real-life usage situation. On a conveyor belt, it is possible to select parts from various sensors. There are models with only pneumatic manipulators and models with combined pneumatic and electric axes.
4-Floor Elevator
The elevator kit allows for the practical application of concepts of sensors and electric actuators in elevator automation. In addition to the sensors and control for elevator operation, this kit includes a frequency inverter to explore motor start control techniques, as well as a PLC to program the system’s logic.
Garage door
The garage gate kit allows for the application of sensors, actuators, and PLC in the performance of a practical garage control task.
Traffic light control
With this traffic light control kit, it is possible to implement traffic control programs from the simplest to the most elaborate, serving to exercise programming logic in automation systems.
Manufacturing Process with Commands
In this kit, a selective conveyor belt allows separating parts based on information from different types of sensors. Through pneumatic actuation, the parts are diverted to different sorting boxes. This kit has devices to implement its control through command logic or can be controlled from a PLC and HMI kit (AUSUP series).
